The Sandbox
Dig your feet into The Sandbox on this vacation. Built with a fenced-in dog run, this home is perfect for your active furry friends. A dog crate is provided so you don't have to worry when you go out to eat or sightseeing. Starting with the top level we have a fantastic view of the ocean from the sun deck, as well as a living room and kitchen scattered with bungalow-themed furniture throughout. A king room sits on the top level with a semi-private bath. The second level is where you'll find the remaining sleeping quarters. The second floor has a room just perfect for the kiddos, furnished with a pyramid bunk (double on the bottom, twin on top) as well as a twin bed. There are also 2 queen bedrooms, one with a private bath and the other shares a bathroom with the bunk bedroom. Ground-level features a recreation room that is equipped with a sleep sofa and endless activities. The ground level is also equipped with a full bath and easy access to the pool and hot tub. No matter the group size or the activities to be had, a stay at the Sand Box will leave you with a smile on your face. **Linens are not provided for sleep sofas.

Great house for a family
This house was exactly what we were looking for when we booked in OBX. Management was helpful when we arrived a little earlier than our original scheduled check in time and was able to get us in about an hour early. The house, pool, and hot tub were all clean. The beach access was only a very short walk and was very doable with our children. There were a lot of spurs in the back yard, so just make sure you wear shoes. Family Trip Heaven
The house is very nice and about one block from the public beach access. It was a beautiful house, but the only thing is for being a pet friendly house, the yard was absolutely not pet friendly. The pool/ patio are was great. The yard on the other hand was pretty bad. The grass and weeds are out of control and the sand spurs are horrible. There’s a nice volleyball net in the yard, but cannot use it due to the condition of the yard area. Sandbox Rental
The sand box was a great house for me and my family to stay. The house was very clean and organized. The house was a great fit for everyone and was in the perfect location for several restaurants and bars. Conveniently Located Rental
We had a wonderful stay at The Sandbox, conveniently located in walking distance to the beach. I would NOT recommend this property to anyone who has dogs due to the high volume of sandspurs in the backyard, making it unusable. The Sandbox
This home is located within a great distance to everything including the beach, shopping and restaurants. For the most part, the home was very clean with the exception of the outside shower area. Also, if you are planning to use the backyard for your dog, please note the yard is full of "sticky weeds" which would not be good for your dogs paws. Wonderful Stay
