Family vacation
Great family vacation. House and pool were amazing. Short distance to a great beach. Private access to the sound where we caught over a dozen crabs. A great family vacation where we made memories that will last a lifetime. I would go back to this house again.- Anonymous from Valencia, Posted: 7/14/2024

View is unbeatable!
On the whole, this is a lovely, clean, well-kept house. Our family of 11 had a wonderful time here. The view of the sound from the living room is spectacular, and a friendly osprey sits in a tree near the water almost every day. This room, however, could use more seating -- there are two armchairs and a wraparound couch, but not enough seating for our whole family, so we had to use dining room chairs to supplement. The dining room table is huge -- seats 11 easily. The bedrooms are all good-sized masters with comfortable bedding, and their accompanying bathrooms are clean and adequate.. Our grandsons enjoyed the pool room on the ground floor, and all of us loved the pool area and the beautifully landscaped back yard. The private dock is great for fishing or crabbing, and the little beach is perfect for launching kayaks and paddle boards. The kitchen, however, is quite small and narrow, which makes it difficult to move around in if there is more than one person there. And the tiny divided sink with its low faucet makes it almost impossible to wash anything larger than a dinner plate == large pans are a frustrating struggle. It's a long walk to the beach, but you can drive -- there is limited parking (maybe 4-5 cars) near the private beach access for Bias Shores. Town is about a mile away to the north.- Anonymous U from Myerstown, PA, Posted: 7/23/2023
